Prags Dolomites

Hohe Gaisl – normal route

One of the most imposing and complex mountains in the Dolomites.

The Hohe Gaisl is one of the most imposing and brilliant mountains in the Dolomites – and one of the most complex. The normal route never exceeds grade IV, but the rock is often loose and after snowy winters several snowfields have to be crossed, so knowing the route inside out is essential.

For maximum safety I take at most one person – or a well-practised rope team of two – up the highest peak of the Prags Dolomites.
